“Jump into the middle of things, get your hands dirty, fall flat on your face, and then reach for the stars.” – Ben Stein
I’m one of those people who likes planning things. I have an eye for details, I don’t get bored or lost in the research, I like looking at options and finding the best solution for everything. While a lot of good things in my life have come as a result of my ability to plan things, a lot more have come out of my willingness to jump in, be spontaneous and have it all turn out. It happened to me in my personal life as well as my career and every time I was willing to let go of how things look and have a great time while succeeding.
When reaching for the stars and achieving our dreams, the universe will always show us perfect moments when we can jump in and change the course of our lives, live that life we’ve always dreamt of and know that it was all because of our courage to jump in the middle and have it turn out regardless of circumstances, in spite of the naysayers, staring our external surroundings in the face and saying: “I’m going to do this and it will be amazing!”
When looking at your life, how many times have you missed out on things because they didn’t look exactly the way you thought they would? And most importantly, how would your life be different if you just decided to take it as it comes, jump in the middle, dive into the beauty of the unknown and trust that everything will turn out for the best.
