Yes, it’s been 8 years since I first got off that plane at JFK excited to start a new life on a different continent. I’ve written in the past about all the things I’m grateful for that happened in the past years, everything that I accomplished, some things that I haven’t, everything about the first 6 Years of Gratitude. I always loved to have a big celebration on this day and was always sad when it didn’t exactly turn out that way.
This year though… this year is different because this one is The Magic 8 and truth be told, 2015 has been pretty magical so far. There have been highs and there have been lows, but there was always magic about it. Between people who have left, the ones who stayed and the ones who just showed up exactly when I asked for them, I was always able to feel the glamour of it all.
Eight years later, all I can say is that it’s been quite a journey and I’m grateful for all of you who have shared all of it or part if it with me. Here’s to eight more and many more after that, all filled with magic and amazing people. What better way to celebrate the Magic 8 other than watching Fantastic Four and enjoying it great people.
