It’s Valentine’s day and whether you love it or hate it, it is one of the days to celebrate love. If you’re part of a loving relationship, this day might be even happier for you, if you’re not, maybe it’s National Singles’ Awareness Day as we dubbed it at work yesterday. (Yep, we were going all out making the best jokes possible about it).
However, this holiday gets me thinking every year about the people I love, the people in my life who make it more beautiful every single day, who love me unconditionally, who call me out when I get sidetracked and who thank me when I call them out on things, the people who have opened up the deepest part of their soul to me and who have peering into the darkness of my heart and have never been scared. They are the people who make a bad day better with just a Hello, who join in on the fun and join in on the hardships without a second glance.
So love it or hate it, remember the best thing about it. Love the beautiful people in your life.
